Route Calculator or Route Planner

The Route Calculator or Route Planner is a tool to find the best route (usually by car) from one place  to another. Normally they also provide an interactive map with a suggested route marked on it. There are a lot of internet sites providing this service. Most of them are only covering Europe. I have selected three, one for Europe and two for the whole World.

UK MAP 24 Cover the whole of Europe up to the European Russia and to Georgia and Azerbaijan. It offers also a good interactive Map.

GEO BYTES Cover the whole world but the distance is calculated using the latitude and longitude of the cities so this may vary from the driving distances, but at least gives an indication to calculate the distance for the cities outside Europe
